MY BACKGROUND

I grew up on the Gold Coast living an active lifestyle surfing, horseriding and playing competitive sports before moving to Sydney in my 20’s to climb the corporate ladder. During this time I also became a Mum. The combination of corporate life, being a new Mum & living in a big city, I found myself in a position where I had let my fitness & health slide. And back then I didn’t really know how to train or how to eat because prior to that I had been younger and always active but now my lifestyle & body had changed and I didn’t know what to do.

After moving back to the Gold Coast, and trying everything, I realised I needed help so I signed up to 4 sessions a week with a personal trainer for 12 weeks, learnt about nutrition, and fell in love with how I looked & felt.

Eventually I decided to leave my successful corporate career behind to help women who find themselves in the position I was in - as a Mum & career woman who has been through it and truly understands the challenges of big life commitments and how to get results without sacrificing all the things you enjoy.

I know exactly what it feels like to start from the beginning and not know what you’re doing. To be scared of starting with a PT thinking I was too unfit or won’t be able to walk properly for days afterwards.

Now I train women of all ages and backgrounds; women with careers and families, students and retirees - who start feeling better after their first session. I bring a combination of life experience, formal education & almost 10 years experience as a trainer to guarantee your results.

Also as a trauma-informed trainer & coach, and someone who once suffered with intense anxiety, I work with clients experiencing PTSD, Anxiety & Depression as well as clients with NDIS Funding. We start very gently and slowly build the intensity in small increments each week. In each session, we do gentle initial nervous sytem prep to reduce the likelihood of experiencing overwhelm while training along with implementing proven lifestyle habits to assist with symptoms of PTSD and Anxiety.

  • Graduate Certificate in Sports Management (Currently studying)

  • Cert IV Training & Assessment (qualified to teach & assess Personal Trainers)

  • Cert III & IV in Fitness (Personal Trainer)

  • Qualified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach

  • Qualified Australian Wellness Coach

  • Advanced Nutrition Certificate

  • Certified Boxing for Fitness Trainer

  • Certified Female Specific Personal Training

  • Certified Kids Trainer

  • Current Blue Card (Working with children)

  • Current Yellow Card (Working with clients with disabilities)

  • First Aid & CPR including Asthma and Anaphylaxis

  • Technogym trained: Kinesis & BioCircuit

  • Certificate in Altitude Training
